Itinerary and highlights
This first stop is to stretch the legs, go to the restroom, have a coffe and do a little walk through the town of San José de Maipo.
Explanation of the town, what people do for living and how people live in the mountain.
Short beginner trekking (2kms) to a little natural waterfall. Interpretation of river flows and how rivers were made.
We will be in the Volcano Valley next to the Maipo River (the most important river of the Metropolitan Region). Interpretation of the endemic flora and fauna.
Geograhpical interpretation; how the canyon was formed. Facts about the weather, flora and fauna.
