Itinerary and highlights
We will visit the Isla Negra area on the central coast, where the House Museum of one of the most famous writers in Chile, Don Pablo Neruda, is located. There you can visit and take a tour of the Isla Negra House Museum (optional, you have to pay the entrance ticket which costs approximately $10,000 Chilean pesos). The tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
San Alfonso del Mar is an exclusive private residential and vacation complex located in Algarrobo, in the Valparaíso Region, approximately 100 kilometers west of Santiago, Chile. It is world-renowned for featuring an iconic, crystal-clear artificial saltwater lagoon that once held the Guinness World Record for the largest swimming pool on Earth. Stretching over one kilometer in length, covering an area of 8.5 hectares, and containing some 250 million liters of water drawn directly from the Pacific Ocean, this stunning turquoise expanse offers a unique tropical landscape set against the chilly waters of the central Chilean coast.
Viña Undurraga is a wine and sparkling wine producer with headquarters in Talagante, in the Maipo Valley, 34 km from Santiago, Chile. It is one of the oldest wineries in the country, founded in 1885.1 The company has a total of 1,700 hectares of vines, spread across the valleys of Maipo, Colchagua, Cachapoal, Leyda, and Maule,1 and exports 75% of its wine production.2 In 2016, it projected annual sales of 1.5 million cases of wine (13.5 million liters per year). We will tour and taste 3 wines.
