The Monument "to the victory of Chacabuco" is located on the Carretera General San Martin (road to Los Andes), and represents the final path to Chile's independence and the end of the Spanish Reconquista.

Portillo is the most traditional ski center in Chile, having been built in the late 1940s. Located 3 km from the border with Argentina, on the road that leads to Mendoza, it is nestled in the Andes mountain range and at the foot of the Laguna del Inca – a chromatic spectacle in itself, which varies from blue to green in different shades. 164 km from the capital Santiago, the station is synonymous with refinement and comfort. You know that place where employees have worked for years and always remember your name and your preferences? It is in this family atmosphere that you will venture to Portillo!

The Laguna del Inca is a body of water with emerald waters four kilometers long, 2,800 meters above sea level, protected by the high Andean mountains. It is not for nothing that Portillo means "narrow path between two heights",
